Contract Summary
GMCA is looking to appoint two Monitoring Surveyors in connection with two loans to SPVs within the Renaker group: Lot 1 - a £60.6m loan for a residential development known as Trinity Tower D1, a 60-storey building incorporating 532 apartments on part of the site known as Trinity Island on the edge of Manchester city centre. The total development cost is £157m, with the construction being carried out under a JCT contract between the Renaker SPV and Renaker Build Ltd. The scheme has detailed planning consent, and construction work has commenced with a forecast completion date of March 2027. Lot 2 - a £59.3m loan for a residential development known as Contour, a 51-storey building incorporating 494 apartments in the Great Jackson Street area of Manchester city centre. The total development cost is £154m, and again the construction is being carried out under a JCT contract between the Renaker SPV and Renaker Build Ltd. The scheme as detailed planning consent, and construction work has commenced with a forecast completion date of March 2027.
