CCG is looking to commission a partner to work in the Boroughs of Havering and Redbridge (and with an option for Barking & Dagenham) with the expertise required to work with those families experiencing issues such as: * Family break-up * Illness * Poverty * Unemployment * Bereavement * Other issues associated with family life Issues such as these have profound effects on the future direction of young peoples lives within the wider Adverse Childhood Experince (ACE) agenda and can sometimes lead to a need in later years for mental or physical health service support The service would be able to offer support within the family home or in groups, responding sensitively to diverse cultures and a range of family structures and possibly utilising the services of appropriately trained and supervised community peers The service should be targeted towards families who have one or more children under the age of 5 and who may be experiencing some of the issues listed below: * Post-natal depression and finding it hard to talk to anyone about it * Coping with their child's illness or disability * Affected by the death of a family member * Struggling with the emotional and practical demands of twins, triplets or children under 5 Finding it hard to cope with relationship difficulties * Feeling exhausted or depressed * Coping with their own illness or disability Service In addition to publicising self-referral options the service should look to receive referrals from those including: * Family Support Workers and Social Prescribing Link Workers * Social Workers * Children's Community Nursing Teams * School Nurses * Health visitors * Primary Care * Social Services * CAMHS * Perinatal teams Exclusions would include: * Families with children aged 6 and over * Families not living in the Havering or Redbridge area * Families NOT registered with Havering or Redbridge GP Additional information: The contract is a going to be for 12 months with the option to extend for additional one year. The Contract is expected to commence on 1st January 2022, with the possible deadline for delivery of the service being 31 March 2024. Bidders are requested to review the contents of the Request for Quotation guidance document carefully, register their organisation, and express their interest in the RFQ via the e-tendering portal (ProContract). RFQ documentation can be accessed following initial registration and expression of interest via the e-tendering portal: https://proContract.due-north.com/register Any reference to "the e-tendering portal" should be considered reflective of the above web address. The RFQ has been issued through the e-tendering portal. All Bidders wishing to participate must complete and submit Bids that comply with the requirements set out in the RFQ document. Bidders are required to complete the Bid Response Document (Section F of the RFQ document) and upload it and any attachments as indicated, onto the e-tendering portal before the deadline for submission of bids specified in the RFQ document.
