Notice Description

Identifying barriers to participation in research, the project will: *Establish a common understanding of (and hallmarks of) good People Centred Clinical Research (PCCR), its behaviours and culture *Identify behavioural and systemic conditions needed for PCCR *Identify behavioural and systemic issues / changes needed for PPCR *Identify transformative actions to drive People Centred Clinical Research as standard The project phases of the entire study are: *Pre-study set up & expert advisory phase:Secure project team to include PPI contributors. Business case to HRA and Procure/contract supplier. Supplier to deliver full protocol and rapid review developmentand any governance process(ethics) for collaborative aspects of programme. **This is the stage of the project which the Supplier will deliver** *Phase 1: PPI & Engagement: Undertake activities to identify public understanding and experience of people-centred clinical research (PCCR). Re-design and agree logic model. *Phase 2: Needs Assessment: Undertake rapid review, call for evidenceand consultation to further identify PCCR barriers, facilitators, good practice, approaches and goals. *Phase 3: Analysis: Analysis, mapping and triangulation of findings from phases 1 & 2 *Phase 4: Engagement/Sandpit: Sense check of root causes and co-creation of suggested solutions and recommendations of behavioural targets. *Phase 5: Outputs and outcomes: Consolidation of findings into reports and other communications covering barriers, good practice, impact indicators, and behaviour change recommendations *Phase 6: Impact: Activities to cascade actionable change insights into the system The supplier will deliver: *A full and detailed protocol for the set up and delivery of the project outlined above. *A protocol for a rapid review of the literature *The Analytical framework *Means of ensuring deliverable impact Activity procured via RfP.
