Notice Title

BCHC Board Paper Management System - Market Engagement

Notice Description

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) is one of the largest specialist community health services providers in the NHS with over 5,000 colleagues. We deliver around 2 million patients and service users attendances to the residents of Birmingham, as well as services in the wider West Midlands from five clinical divisions. BCHC operates from over 300 sites across Birmingham and the West Midlands providing care for people throughout their lives from the new-born and their families to the frail elderly and their carers. The services we provide are diverse; from healthy lifestyle services that support people to feel well to the most complex healthcare for those with highly specialist needs. We provide care in people's homes and also in clinics and inpatient units across the city. We deliver all of this with a commitment to integrated, personalised care to meet the needs of our diverse local communities. Whilst we provide all of these services, much of the care we provide is delivered in partnership with primary care, social care, community mental health teams, acute hospitals and the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector. We are also a major organisation for training and teaching. BCHC requires a Board Portal software to provide a paper management system that is accessible to a range of abilities and across multiple platforms. Our objective is to reduce the email sharing of documents and the use of paper across the organisation. We aim to improve the efficiency of meetings and ensure data security, through a user friendly interface. The intention is to implement the software during June 2025 for an initial circa 75 users, whilst retaining the option to increase at a later stage, if financially viable. The detailed requirements are stipulated within Annex 1 Feedback on Requirements. Suppliers wishing to participate in this market engagement exercise and express an interest in this requirement should respond to the questionnaire via the online form on the Health Family Single eCommercial System Portal (Atamis) by 12:00 on Tuesday 12th November 2024. https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome Please search for C315290 To View documents please register interest and then navigate back to the homepage and click on "My Proposals and quotes"
