Notice Description

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to Radiopaedia Events. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. The HEE Radiology School aims to procure the expertise and services from a supplier specialising in delivering solutions to education and training issues in Radiology. HEE will work in partnership with the supplier to deliver on the priorities and Mandate deliverables of HEE with Radiology Trainees as outlined in the NHS Long Term Plan and People Plan. This will include: * Working in partnership with the Medical Schools Council, the Council of Deans, Royal Colleges and the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management to support the delivery of Radiology curricula and improve Radiology cultures. * Provide employers the necessary tools to better support junior doctors at the start of their career and help improve working conditions and their experiences. * Facilitate growth in the medical workforce and help provide suitable educational opportunities and support for junior doctors at a regional level. * Provision of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in medical education and upskill the Radiology workforce Heath Education England [HEE] believe that Radiopaedia Events is the only organisation capable of providing support such as to meet specific curriculum requirements of HEE Radiology Training Programme. Radiopaedia Events is the only supplier with the requisite expertise and experience to assist HEE in fulfilling Mandate deliverables and actions of UK government policy including the Long-Term Plan and People Plan. Specifically: * Improvement of Radiology leadership culture, by working in partnership with the Medical Schools Council, the Council of Deans, Royal Colleges to support the design and delivery of Radiopaedia curricula. * Working with employers in ensuring the provision of support for junior doctors studying Radiology at the start of their career and enhancing professional development and workplace-based experience throughout. The financial envelope for the contract is PS9,960.00 inclusive of any VAT.
