Summary of the contracting process

The Air Commercial Team is seeking tenders for the project titled "GB-Lyneham: Control Equipment Training Aids (CETA)", aimed at the delivery of training services in the South West region of the United Kingdom. The current procurement stage is in the tender phase, with submissions due by 27 November 2017. The contract, valued at £113,000, includes the supply and installation of 8 control equipment training aids along with a software package and a 5-year maintenance service, to be completed by 8 January 2018. This initiative is part of a larger project to modernise training resources at the Defence School of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in training services, electronic equipment supply, and educational technologies, particularly those with capabilities in developing software and training aids for the defence sector. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, particularly those with experience in providing innovative training solutions and cyber compliance, as the procurement process follows a restrictive procedure that may favour proven suppliers who can meet specific cyber security standards.
