Notice Description

Bedford Borough Council is inviting tenders for the provision of Third Sector Infrastructure support services. The services must be inclusive and easily accessible for all. The successful tender will demonstrate a full understanding of the issues to be addressed in the provision of these services and the ability to provide a comprehensive service to all within the Borough. The service comprises the core activities shown below: i. Provide leadership to voluntary and community groups in tackling new issues and unmet needs. ii. Support, advice and training for new and existing groups to help them sustain and develop effective organisations and good governance. iii. Funding and development advice to identify and approach the right funders with appropriate activities and improve the overall sustainability of groups. iv. Practical support in the form of affordable and accessible meeting/training rooms, office space, equipment hire and photocopying. v. Information and networking opportunities through mailings, events and meetings throughout the year. vi. Representation of the sector at a wide range of meetings, and through involvement in and encouragement of partnership working. vii.
