Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Haringey is conducting a market engagement event titled "MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT - SINGLE HOMELESS PATHWAY SERVICES" as part of its planning for a forthcoming tender related to the provision of homeless pathway services. This virtual event is scheduled for Thursday, 29th April 2021, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the engagement closing date set for 27th April 2021. The procurement falls under the health and social work services category and focuses on enhancing support for homeless individuals across the borough of London. Contracts are expected to commence in March 2022 and will include an initial four-year term, with an option for three additional years.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth for businesses, particularly those in the health and social care sectors, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). Organisations involved in providing trauma-informed support services, transitional housing, and accommodation-based provisions for vulnerable groups, such as individuals with histories of mental health issues or substance abuse, would be particularly well-suited to compete. Engaging in this process will not only enhance service delivery for homeless populations but also allow providers to build a sustainable presence within the public sector, contributing to the Council's broader homelessness prevention strategy.
