Notice Description

This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of NHS Kent and Medway ICB's (the Commissioner's), intention to recommission Environmental Control Equipment for Patients with Complex Disability (All Ages) in the South East region. The service is expected to cover Kent and Medway, South East London and Sussex. The Commissioner would like to understand the level of provider interest in delivering the service and invites expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced providers to provide the service. The ICB areas involved are: 1. NHS Kent and Medway ICB 2. NHS Surrey and Sussex ICB 3. NHS South East London ICB The number of active clients (2025/26) are as follows: NHS Kent and Medway ICB = 191 NHS Surrey and Sussex ICB (East Sussex) = 92 NHS Surrey and Sussex ICB (Brighton) = 34 NHS South East London ICB = 160 TOTAL = 477 Service specification link: https://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/environmental-control-equipment-for-patients-with-complex-disability-all-ages/ The contract term is anticipated to be for an initial period of 5 years with the option to extend for up to 4 years (4 x 12 month extensions). The annual contract value is currently expected to be PS1,633,031 per annum (based on 2025/26 values). All figures are subject to change.
