Notice Title

Special Allocation Scheme for NHS Stockport CCG

Notice Description

NHS Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) is inviting expressions of interest from Primary Care Service Providers for a Special Allocation Scheme (the Service) within the Stockport borough boundaries. The purpose of this Service is to provide a stable environment for patients who have demonstrated violent, aggressive or abusive behaviour and have been subject to immediate removal from a Practice's patient list. The service will enable them to continue receiving health care and seek to address any underlying causes of aggressive or disruptive behaviour. Providing a safe environment for the delivery of such health care. The aim of the service is to return them to usual medical services as soon as clinically appropriate. Access to this service will be required between 8am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). The Service should be delivered from premises that are easily reached from all parts of Stockport with good links to public transport and the road network. This 3 year service has a total contract value of PS54,000 and is expected to start in Autumn/Winter 2018. It is likely that this potential contract opportunity will be subject to some form of competitive procurement process to enable the CCG to identify the most suitable and qualified Provider to deliver the service. A lack of interest being expressed in response to this expression of interest invitation, may be taken as evidence by the CCG that a competitive process may not be required, so potentially interested Providers are advised to respond. Interested Providers wishing to respond should reply to kathryn_farquhar1@nhs.net by 1700 on 21st May 2018.
