Hull City Council, alongside Hull Culture and Leisure Ltd have successfully secured funding to refurbish and redisplay the Hull Maritime Museum, as part of a wider HLF funded city wide project to highlight Hull's important maritime heritage. The scheme will include conservation of key objects in the collections of Hull Museums. Hull Culture and Leisure Limited are looking to appoint experienced conservator(s) to conserve paintings at the Hull Maritime Museum. There are a maximum of 30 paintings in the collection all with varying degrees of conservation treatment required.
