Summary of the contracting process

The Environment Agency is seeking suppliers for a 12-month contract for a guaranteed 24/7 Drone UAV service, aiming to provide rapid imagery response for both emergency and non-emergency events across England. Notice Description

12 month contract to provide a guaranteed quick response (within 6-12 hours) drone service to the Environment Agency to any location within England. Drone service required to provide imagery for emergency and non emergency situations including but not limited to flood and environmental incident response. With a potential for more than one simultaneous location. Secure live feed and recorded video and still footage capability that can be viewed remotely essential. Commercial operators must meet CAA regulations for operating UAVs. Additional information: Any interested suppliers who are able to meet the outline criteria can express an interest by applying for full information and tender packs to Liz Jenkins, liz.jenkins@environment-agency.gov.uk by 14 July 2017. A deadline for the tenders has not yet been set.
