Summary of the contracting process

The Corby Borough Council is currently in the planning stage of a tender process titled "Requirement For Ten (10) New Build Homes." This procurement involves the construction of housing within Corby, located in the East Midlands, England. The council seeks to expand its housing stock, having already developed or acquired over 200 new council homes since 2010. Interested parties must submit details, including location, plans, and indicative pricing to the council by the engagement end date on 31st May 2020.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for construction and housing development businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that specialise in residential building projects. Companies with experience in delivering two or three-bedroom homes within borough regulations would be especially well-suited to compete, capitalising on the council's initiative to enhance local housing availability.
