As part of its focus on jobs-related growth and using its powers and responsibilities for improving the lives of the residents of Cheshire East, the Council has begun to explore a range of renewable energy opportunities to ensure the sustainability and resilience of the borough and make Cheshire East a more attractive place for residents, businesses and investors. Following the successful award of European Local Energy Assistance grant and Heat Network Funding from BEIS, the Council is seeking to commission a district heating project manager for the proposed heat network schemes across Crewe and Macclesfield areas. In order to participate, providers must register, complete and upload completed procurement documentation via the Chest at http://www.the-chest.org.uk/ - the project reference on The Chest is DN300665
