The Comptroller & Auditor General (through NIAO) is responsible for the financial audit of Northern Ireland public sector bodies. His work also includes Value For Money studies. NIAO contracts out roughly 30% of its work to external providers. NIAO wishes to procure external financial audit services for public bodies in central government and the health sector.
