Notice Information
Notice Title
Early Market Engagement for replacement of Essex Construction Framework
Notice Description
Essex County Council's (ECC) existing Construction Framework is due to expire at the end of February 2020 and we are currently reviewing replacement procurement options. We have designed a short questionnaire based on the Council continuing with a Framework approach to continue to source construction contracts and are seeking input from the market into some of the key proposed changes. Please note that the decision for ECC to proceed with setting up another Framework Agreement is yet to be ratified and is still subject to ECC's internal governance processes. The scope of the potential new Construction Framework is intended to cover design and construction services for the delivery of a range of construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects, across ECC and other local authorities (with the exception of housing and highways projects). It is proposed that new Framework will have three main Lots: Lot 1: PS0 - PS1.5m (potentially split into geographical sub-lots) Lot 2: PS1m - PS4.5m Lot 3: PS4m+ This short questionnaire is open until midday on 19/11/2018 and we would be very grateful for your feedback to inform our future sourcing approach. Additional information: If you are a Construction Contractor and would potentially be interested in delivering works for Essex County Council in future, please complete the survey via the above link by midday on Monday 19th November 2018.
