Notice Title

Market research to identify digital systems to support mobile working and integrate existing systems

Notice Description

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) wishes to invite suppliers to obtain information regarding your company and the services you provide. This information is requested as part of a market engagement exercise in order to seek the market's views on the supply and delivery of new digital systems which may amalgamate a number of existing systems and improve remote and flexible working, the capacity of the market to supply this commodity, and the level of interest in any eventual procurement activity. LFRS's prime objective is to replace its Community Fire Risk Management Information System (CFRMIS), the aspiration is to implement a system that is easily extensible with the purchase of other modules of the same system at a later stage. Presently the organisation utilises a number of both paper based and digital processes across a number of departments. To improve both the efficiencies in departments and the effectiveness of staff we are seeking to identify new systems which may, over a period of time, replace existing systems and ways of working to improve productivity along with how departments/individuals can share and view data. This includes a requirement to build on our existing flexible working arrangements with improved remote/mobile working for staff along with how operationally critical information is shared to the incident ground. THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION. If interested, please click on the following link to view the questionnaire and submit your response. Completed questionnaires should be received no later than 12:00 Noon on 28/07/23 and should be returned to LFRS using the on Delta (www.Supply4NWFire.org.uk) electronic tendering system. This exercise will provide an opportunity for LFRS to obtain insight into how potential providers might approach the delivery of the supply and services in question. It also gives useful early insight into the likely level of interest in a proposed project from that market.
