Notice Description

The Cruise Programme is for the development of our existing two cruise terminals and surrounding associated infrastructure to support our growing cruise business. It is a mix of demolition, construction, civils, marine works, utilities and associated infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to the following: - The renewal refurbishment of the listed Cruise terminal 1 (listed building), including roof, structure, drainage, HVAC, repurpose and internal reorganisation, baggage handling system and raised entrance walkway. - The renewal refurbishment of Cruise terminal 2 including roof and cladding system, HVAC and internal reorganisation, extension of existing building and baggage handling system. - Cruise Terminal 1 and 2 removal of existing passenger boarding bridges and installation of new passenger boarding bridges. - The demolition of Spur Pier and - The extension of Cruise Terminal 1 berth along with associated dredging. - The refurbishment and repair works on Admiralty Pier (listed structure), including existing sea wall and walkway, existing buildings and the Gun Turret. - The works required for the new Cruise estate layout and traffic flow. - Installation of shore power connections for the cruise vessels Additional information: For the purpose of providing further detail around this procurement, it is the intention to hold an engagement event during October 2023. This is to provide prospective interested parties with more information on the Port Of Dover in general together with anticipated scope and timeline for the programme of work. This procurement is anticipated to be launched May 2024. Access to the this engagement event will be via invitation to those parties who have registered their interest by sending an e-mail to: PODProcurement@portofdover.com with the title: "CRUISE PROGRAMME ENGAGEMENT EVENT REQUEST" to be received by 12.00 on 15th September 2023.
