Notice Description

This programme has been designed to engage those students who had intended to move either into Higher Level Apprenticeships or attend university but are now considering alternative options. The students will have achieved higher level grades in A 'Level's & GCSEs. We are therefore seeking an innovate and challenging programme that will introduce them to a wide range of career options and offer opportunities for them to explore a variety of sectors & roles, through practical work experience. The 12-week programme will include a minimum of 2 weeks spent concentrating on employability skills, 9 weeks work experience, with the final week back in the centre, consolidating on experiences and action planning for the future. Attendance should be 3 - 4 days per week when in the centre but full time when on work experience. The programme must allow for the fact that learners may wish to experience more than one sector or role.
