Planning, Configuration & Change Lead
Notice Description
Develop, apply and lead knowledge in the discipline of planning and work with projects to support delivery of the business case benefits and outcomes. Provide expert advice for team members and project community. Develop, implement and lead configuration management processes in line with departmental standards. Coordinate configuration verification, reviews and audits. Report on the status of items under configuration control. Lead, develop and maintain a repository for items under configuration control, ensuring it is appropriate to manage; receipt, identification, storage, retention and accessibility of such items. Ensure that all changes to documents under configuration control are documented and controlled. Ensure data is appropriately protected in line with departmental policy. Establish, develop and implement protocols to change the scope, configuration or delivery criteria and ensure the configuration is documented accordingly. Establish and operate robust and appropriate controls. Identify common capabilities and opportunities, re-using and sharing of methods and resources between projects. Identify, analyse and report performance data, looking at trends to identify areas for improvement and collaboration, and selecting appropriate methods and tools to resolve them. Work with stakeholders to agree methodologies, structures and processes are embedded appropriately. Ensure regular critical reviews to ensure they remain appropriate, reasonable and prudent. Implement, monitor and enable continuous improvement through process, sharing and embedding lessons learned. Report and communicate activities, key messages and sharing opportunities. Provide coordination, direction and guidance to the team. Ensure that individual and organisational learning opportunities are fully exploited in order to enhance organisational capability.
