Notice Description

NWL CCG requires the provision of high quality efficient and effective mental health placements to adults in North West London. The aim of the service is to provide care to individuals in a person-centric multi-disciplinary way so that they receive appropriate care and support from a range of specialist mental health and other appropriate services to meet their needs whilst ensuring continuity of care. The service applies to adults over 18 years old who require 24 hour mental health care and treatment in an in-patient hospital, care home or supported community living unit or similar setting. Key requirements include: -Providing a multi-disciplinary assessment of the individual's needs for recovery, care treatment and rehabilitation. -Providing a comprehensive and co-ordinated package of care to meet those identified and assessed needs. -Providing timely and evidence based (where possible) medical, nursing and other relevant interventions to individuals where required and appropriate to their needs and to include access to all the necessary medical and nursing support. -Ensuring that safety procedures are in place and are adhered to in relation to the preparation, handling and delivery to the service user of drugs. -Delivering these interventions in a safe, structured and supportive environment which include structured programmes that are based on the individual's needs and agreed identified outcomes. It will also take account of the service user's age, gender, disability, race, religious and cultural beliefs and sexual orientation. The CCG currently has contract arrangements in place for 3 London inner boroughs (Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, and Hammersmith & Fulham) with over 80 providers until 31st March 2022. The purpose of this PIN is to be transparent about the CCG's intentions to making future arrangements for this service which may involve a procurement exercise. Any capable provider may come forward by 2nd May 2022 to engage with the CCG.
