Notice Title

Data Architecture and Governance (CS102)

Notice Description

Anchor Hanover is looking for a third-party consultant to act as an accelerator to assist with data architecture and data governance practices. The organisation is implementing huge change across all services with new technology being developed to support organisational and change through technology. It recognises the huge opportunities that will come from its data but there is currently no data architecture, standards or practices in place. Anchor Hanover is seeking a third-party consultancy that have supported organisations (not necessarily within the Housing sector) in achieving the following: Defining a "To-be" organisation data model. Working with Subject Matter Experts, existing databases and new requirements to build a future-looking data model structure. This is not expected to go down to the detail of every attribute but the structure to support the business. Defining the processes and governance to manage data effectively. From experience with other companies, Anchor Hanover is looking for a consultant to share best practices on how to manage data change, enable the appropriate governance processes and to demonstrate practices that will enhance the controls, validity, currency of data across the organisation. Example deliverables (subject to input from the successful consultancy) would be: Enterprise data model (with sample attributes) Data modelling diagram standards document Data dictionary templates and specification Data governance process design document Sample roles and responsibilities document Work is already ongoing to look at the technology implementations to support the new data model and to drive value from the date through modern cloud-based technologies. This procurement is not to establish or design that. What We Need? Anchor Hanover is seeking a proactive expert partner with a practical, no-nonsense, simple approach to addressing these challenges. It is important to see this exercise as an accelerator rather than a prolonged engagement. The desire is to complete this work in approximately 2-3 months. A practical partner is needed. The requirement is not about abstract data architecture, the culture of data or data "talking shops". This procurement is seeking real practical help to shape how the organisation defines and then manages data going forward.
