Notice Description

Umbrella is the provider of sexual health services in Birmingham and Solihull. Umbrella is a partnership, led by University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB), consisting of a number of community-based organisations, charities and health service providers, with the aim of improving the sexual health and well-being of the people of Birmingham and Solihull. Umbrella is seeking to appoint a Domestic Abuse ("DA") specialist agency to provide and support and Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to; - Support victims after disclosure of DA, identified while attending Umbrella, - Ensure Umbrella has a joined-up, city-wide response to DA, with effective partnership working and pathways to other organisations involved in the response to DA. The domestic abuse service will offer to each victim a risk and needs led response, delivered in partnership with other agencies where necessary, that proactively addresses risk and safety, support a victim's practical needs, empowers them and provides effective referral pathways where appropriate. Any contract awarded as a result of this procurement process will will expire on 31 August 2020 (unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Services Sub-contract) with an option to extend further up to a maximum of two (2) years. Those wishing to submit a bid will need to do so through the Bravo e-tendering portal (link provided below) The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of bidders will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only) - You can now access any attachments by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in the 'PQQ/ ITT Details' box; 3.
