Notice Title
Design and Delivery of a Temporary Exhibition at the Exchange, Birmingham
Notice Description
The University of Birmingham seeks to appoint a suitably qualified designer/contractor to design and deliver a temporary exhibition at The Exchange. The Exchange is the result of a wholescale transformation of Birmingham's former Municipal Bank into a thriving knowledge exchange hub for the city's Russell Group University, located in the heart of Birmingham's commercial and cultural centre, Centenary Square. The exhibition will be the University's second in its new city centre base and is scheduled to run autumn 2022 to summer 2023. The first and current exhibition at The Exchange - The Air We Breathe - launched in October 2021 and brings together research from across the institution exploring the relationships between people, air quality and the environment. The University envisages The Exchange as a vital part of its engagement strategy with the city, and marks a recommitment to its civic university foundations and the people of Birmingham and wider West Midlands region. We are looking to appoint a designer with proven experience of designing, manufacturing and installing temporary exhibitions and/or displays and the creativity and commitment to work with a small in-house team, communities and stakeholders to create a thought-provoking and participative series of displays within a tight budget. Additional information: Documents can be accessed from https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofbirmingham/aspx/Tenders/Current - you may need to register with the portal first if you are not already registered.
