Digital Testing Services Framework II
Notice Description
The BBC requires a single supplier to provide Digital Testing Services, and associated activities, for our digital products, applications and websites, running on both digital and broadcast platforms, e.g. desktop computers ;mobile devices; internet protocol TV; terrestrial, cable, satellite TV; and the web, at any combination/stages of their product development. The required services include functional testing, non-functional testing and test management; using manual, exploratory and automated approaches. The successful supplier will be required to augment pan-BBC teams with additional software test resource and contribute to the BBC's Quality Assurance and Digital Strategies. The supplier's testing staff will be required to be suitably trained in order to be capable of being deployed flexibly at short notice and on-demand into BBC testing projects and teams including multi-geographically located, cross-functional project teams. The BBC intends to award a Framework Agreement to a single Economic Operator following the procurement process. The Agreement will have a term of 24 (twenty-four) months commencing on 1.12.2018 and ending on30.11.2020. The Agreement may be extended at the BBC's discretion by up to 2 (two) successive 12 (twelve)month periods. We anticipate that the annual value will be between approximately 6 000 000 GBP to 7 500 000 GBP.
