Observing its obligations under the NHS (Procurement Patient Choice and Competition)(No.2) Regulations 2013, the CCG has assessed the appropriateness to award this interim contract directly through a non-competitive process to secure continuity of high quality community diagnostic capacity for Bury patients, from an incumbent provider. This process is assessed as being proportionate and necessarily achieving a balance of commissioning priorities at this time. During this interim contract period, the CCG will progress development of a new future Community Diagnostic commissioning strategy.",
