Summary of the contracting process

The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is seeking to establish a Legal Services Framework aimed at procuring a range of legal services to support its land, property, and investment activities across England. This procurement, classified under the legal services category (CPV code 79100000), is currently at the award stage. The tender was published on 4th October 2017, with a deadline for submitting tenders on 1st November 2017. The services will be delivered across various locations within the United Kingdom, as well as the British Overseas Territories and other regions.

This framework presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for law firms specialised in property, commercial law, and litigation, among other areas. Suitable candidates may include small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in real estate, housing law, and public procurement, as the HCA plans to appoint multiple suppliers for the two structured lots. Firms that can demonstrate strong capabilities in areas such as agricultural law, company law, and environmental law should consider participating, as they will have a competitive edge in this procurement process.
