Notice Description

The Greater South East Energy Hub's requirements for Mapping Energy and Utilities Infrastructure for Regional Spatial Planning and is an invitation to submit a costed proposal for the supply of these products and services. The GSE Energy Hub wishes to appoint an organisation or consortium of organisations to develop and deliver: 1. A proof of concept mapping system that meets the requirements detailed in 4. 2. A report explaining the costed options for a final proposed mapping system. The proposal will be developed for a national approach and platform for regional energy mapping that all five Hubs could use, with potential to extend across the wider public sector stakeholders and meets the requirements detailed in 5. 3. Ongoing support meeting the requirements detailed in 4.4. The anticipated split in focus between the proof of concept mapping system, the report explaining the costed options for a final proposed mapping system (national approach) and ongoing support, is that the proof of concept mapping system is the majority of the work. Tender documents should identify in detail the expected breakdown between these three different aspects and provide appropriate justification in the tender document submitted for their allocation.
