This employability programme is designed to support participants to develop the skills and knowledge in preparation for entering the world of work. The programme should be delivered to small groups (minimum 4) and be broken down into modules that are delivered 4 days per week, over a period of 2 weeks. Each module should be interactive and include activities and role play. The modules should be designed and delivered in a way that will maximise participants retention of the programme's contents. o Programme content should include the following areas: o Producing an effective CV o Writing a winning application form o Speculative and application letters o Understanding Personal Specifications o Applying for jobs online o Effective communication and team working skills o Developing confidence & self esteem o Identifying individual skills, strengths and weaknesses o Resilience o Understanding what employers want o Social Media and Recruitment o Interview Preparation & Mock Interviews o The interview o Sustaining your job o H&S in the workplace An expected Outcome on completion of the programme is that participants will produce and retain a personalised CV and application form Service Provider should produce a work book for participants to complete during the programme and retain so that it can be used in the future as a reference guide. Delivery will be expected to commence within 2 weeks of the contract been awarded.
