Tender for a National Partner for Early Years Continuing Professional Development

Notice Description

The main purpose of the Early Years Professional Development Fund Programme is to support pre-reception early years practitioners to improve their practice in working with very young children between the ages of 2 and 4. This aims to improve outcomes in language, literacy and numeracy for the most disadvantaged children, with an emphasis on improving school readiness. The proposed contract period is from May 2019 to July 2021. A Third Party Evaluator will be appointed to undertake a robust assessment of the impact of the Programme. Subject to supplier performance, Ministerial approval and funding being available, the Department may extend the Contract up to a further 24 months should the Programme prove effective Additional information: Please be advised that the DfE is using its e-Sourcing tool for this procurement which can be accessed at https://education.bravosolution.co.uk where (if you have not already done so) you will need to register before being able to access the documents and submit a response Please also be advised that no other means of submitting bids other than through this e-Sourcing Portal will be allowed nor will any other means of communication be utilized other than via the online message board accessed via the e-Sourcing Portal
