There is a particular emphasis on providing affordable warmth solutions by: - Raising the EPC rating of the Council's E, F and G-rated properties - Working with our licensing team to support landlords make their properties more energy efficient - Providing heating and insulation works to qualifying owner-occupiers - Supporting efforts to insulate homes under our localised LA Flex criteria - Working with stakeholders, to stimulate the Able to Pay market - Creating new jobs in the local retrofit and renewables industry Suppliers should also note that the Borough is looking for a partner who provides a fully-funded and fully managed scheme, appointing its own managing agent but with consideration given to suitable local supply chains for a proportion of the installation of measures. Expressions of Interest requests will only be accepted from fully licensed ECO4-mandated energy suppliers. Requests from managing agents, installers and contractors will be declined.
