Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Ealing is currently conducting a tender for "Specialist Drainage & Associated Works," aimed at procuring services related to drainage clearance and associated tasks, including CCTV drain surveys and emergency repairs. This procurement falls under the "Sewage, refuse, cleaning and environmental services" industry category. The tender is open until 3rd June 2019, with the contract period slated to commence on 21st October 2020 and extend until 20th October 2024. The anticipated contract value ranges from £1,250,000 to £1,500,000, with an annual expenditure forecasted between £250,000 and £300,000. The procurement method is open, allowing for wide participation from interested bidders.

This opportunity presents significant potential for business growth, especially for companies specialising in drainage, environmental services, or emergency repair works. Businesses that can demonstrate expertise in clearing drainage blockages, conducting CCTV surveys, and providing ongoing maintenance in urban settings would be well-suited to compete. Given that the contract will cover various properties across Ealing, suppliers with the capability to deliver services around the clock, including potential out-of-hours emergency responses, may find this tender particularly advantageous.
