Summary of the contracting process

The Shropshire Council has announced the award of the "RMCV 029 - Apprenticeship Training Provider Framework" for delivering apprenticeship training services, classified under vocational training (CPV code 80530000). The contract period commenced on 1st May 2019 and is set to conclude on 31st March 2023, with a potential two-year extension. The total value of the framework is £8 million, and it operates under an open procurement method. The tender period closed on 15th April 2019.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in vocational training and apprenticeship services, particularly those that are small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) or voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). Companies specialising in educational programmes or workforce development will find this framework appealing, as the Shropshire Council aims to optimise the use of available Levy funds across its service areas.
