NOTE: This notice was updated on 18 May 2020 for the following reason: The type of notice was issued as a RESTRICTED Procedure, but should have been issued as an OPEN Procedure.(Colchester Borough Council wishes to commission a Contractor to demolish a number of existing garages, constructing new affordable housing to provide 6no. 2 bedroom flats at Buffett Way, Colchester, CO4 3YL and 6no. 2 bedroom flats at Scarfe Way, Colchester, CO4 3YR and associated works. Full details of the requirements are detailed within the Specification and associated documents.) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Please note that the deadline of 12:00 (noon) 26th June 2020 stated for Expressions of Interest is the closing date for Completed Tender Submissions to be submitted. The timetable shown is just an indication and bidders must provide an actual timeline (inclusive of start date on site to completion as part of their submission).
