Summary of the contracting process

Homes England has completed the award stage of its procurement process for the "Social and Affordable Housing Programme (SAHP) - Integrated Change Programme (ICP) - G-Cloud14 Lot 3: Cloud Support." This tender focuses on IT services, specifically, cloud support, consulting, and data services, within the sector of building low-interest loans digital solutions. The contracting authority is Homes England, located in Newcastle upon Tyne. With a direct award procurement method through CCS G-Cloud 14, the contract was awarded to Ceox Services Ltd for a total sum of £1,100,000. The project's timeline includes a contract period from 16th June 2026 to 31st March 2027, covering the delivery of digital support for low-interest loan applications across England.

This procurement offers significant growth opportunities for businesses in the IT services industry, particularly those experienced in cloud support and data management. Companies that can provide innovative digital solutions aligned with GDS service standards would find this type of tender lucrative. While SMEs were not considered suitable in this instance, larger IT service providers with existing frameworks in digital transformation and government service compliance are likely to benefit from such opportunities. As public sector digitalisation continues, businesses with expertise in service transition, data analytics, and software development can position themselves as key partners in future similar procurement events.
