Notice Information
Notice Title
GB-London: TBG - AI assessment tool
Notice Description
5000 Universal rent verifications are received annually and require manual review and intervention. This requires a full-time post as well as two officers supporting for 6 weeks in the first 2 months of the year The team send c.600 arrears letters prior to Notie Seeking possession monthly. UC Verification: Automation - Enterprise will automate all UC verification processes currently carried out by one full time officer. We receive on average 5000 requests per year with this number increasing yearly due to migration. Automation is achieved based on a cloud-based solution integrated between the DWPs landlord portal and QL. Enabling to check tenancy details on QL automatically to then provide this information to the DWP without human input. The above service is currently operated by a number of peers, including The Guiness Partnership, Southern Housing and Redbridge Council as well as others. We have reached out to peers who confirm its success and have seen efficiencies made within the service. Rent escalation: This is a new offer from Enterprise based on our discussions with them over the past 12 months. The income collection service at present manually sends letters based on Mars actions generated. The team currently send on average 600 letter per month, with all members of staff involved in the process. It is expected the automation of these letters will save 1200 man hours per year, allowing officers to concentrate on early intervention and high arrears activity. In the first instance the automation will be the 4 stages prior to Notice Seeking possession and will remove all ambiguity and subjectivity. All vulnerabilities will be excluded for the trial period to ensure a tailored approach can be taken.
