Community Co-Production "Lambeth Made Safer" Reducing Serious Youth Violence
Notice Description
Lambeth Council is hosting a bidders event in partnership with Integrate for local providers who wish to come together in partnership to bid for a contract to co-produce and effective approach to reduce serious youth violence. The specification is about making sure the community design, commission and support the delivery of services and projects that will reduce serious youth violence by seeking to address inequalitiies in health, education, housing, changing negative interactions and sterotypes and promoting aspirations for young people. The local authority wants to work with the community to equally involve people in developing and assesing its efficacy. Here people will help to: * Explain about local issues, needs, and aspirations. * Make important decisions about what things are needed to make sure people have better lives and how to make these things happen. * Check and feedback abou how well the approach and projects are doing and how they could be better. For effectiveness and extensive outreach, this service will require a partnership of two or more organisations to be able to engage with different communities and their representative groups, including young people. The Provider Partnership will also be required to facilitate ongoing engagement and opportunities to co-produce and collaborate.
