Notice Description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is Wednesday 7th December 2016 at 14:00 am DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal. Item Description The Artemis facility for ultrafast laser and XUV science at the Rutherford Appleton laboratory operates a 1 kHz laser system that generates 30 fs pulses from the extreme ultraviolet to the infrared. We plan to build an additional amplifier for the facility and require a 40 W, kHz pump laser to pump a Ti:sapphire amplifier stage. The laser will be run for extended periods, for approximately 6000 hours per year, and requires excellent long-term stability and reliability. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
