Dementia Diagnosis & Assessment Service
Notice Description
We are seeking expressions of interest from organisations that can provide assessment and diagnosis for adults awaiting a dementia diagnosis. We are looking to commission around 250 assessments although this figure could fluctuate. If you would like to express interest in tendering for this service could you please email mturner10@nhs.net on or before 11th May 2023 including details of your organisation's capacity and capability in this field. An outline service specification is below : Outline Service Specification Deliverables: a) Deliver dementia diagnosis assessments including written outcome reports for all clients b) Provide Trust staff with access to a secure online referral portal. c) Provide service user experience outcome measures for all who have taken part in the service. d) Provide an outcome report on completion Assessment for the patient and Trust staff. The report will be made available via the provider's secure online referral portal. Aims: Provide support to Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust's (Trust) waiting list reduction plans by providing greater access and choice for adults in Hull and East riding of Yorkshire waiting for a Dementia Diagnosis. Clients would already have been triaged by the Trust service and then passed on to the successful provider. Responses required from interested providers How long would it take you to process xx clients? How long, on average, does diagnosis to feedback take? What method would you intend to use? What would you need from the Trust to enable you to deliver this service? Please provide your pricing for this service - would this be a tariff for each completed assessment, or would you prefer an alternative arrangement? If alternative, please provide information.
