CEFAS21-49 RFQ Knifemaker
Notice Description
The equipment must be appropriate for bio-science applications in the field of electron microscopy. Features should include: - Easy and safe handling of the square as well as the finished knives. - Mechanical construction to achieve a balanced break. - Vibrations free casting. - Should be delivered ready to score and break the glass for every operation without any adjustment of micrometre drivers prior to each break. - Equipment should intrinsically allow for symmetrical breaking; this should be very precise with no backlash. - Breaking head should be via a clamping lever with defined clamping position. - Simplicity of score action of glass if possible, with and auto reset for the next score. - Breaking head which applies symmetrical force to both side of the glass. - Breaking wheel with scale. - High precision glass strip support. - Facility to rotate the glass square precisely to help ensure high quality knives. - Easy access of scoring pressure adjustment. - Fast learning curve - very easy to learn and use. - Any system to avoid accidental misalignment is preferred. (This will move the PQQ /ITT into your 'My PQQs/ My ITTs' page) within your Bravo account. - Access the tender information by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in the 'PQQ/ ITT Details' box 3. 3) Responding to the tender: - Click 'My Response' under 'PQQ/ ITT Details', you can choose to 'Create Response' or to 'Decline to Respond' (please give a reason if declining) - You can now use the 'Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification - Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the requirements to upload a successful Tender. There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available) - Once all information is complete, you can then submit your reply using the 'Submit Response' button at the top of the page.
