Notice Description

UKRI wishes to establish a contract to enable a review of the current governance arrangements for the Diamond Light Source Ltd (Diamond) and establish if the current model is fit for purpose. The review needs to take account of the objectives of the company, the shareholders, and the requirement for Diamond to comply with the Central Government Control Framework (CGCF), resulting from its reclassification by the Office of National Statistics (ONS). The governance review also needs to take account of the proposed Diamond II upgrade, which will be a major investment for the shareholders. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
