Summary of the contracting process

The Essex County Council is currently in the planning stage of the procurement process for the "ECC Supported to Employment Service" project, which aims to enhance supported employment services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. This engagement is crucial for developing an innovative service that balances quality outcomes and value. The milestone for the engagement phase concludes on 26th July 2022, just before the scheduled online market engagement session on 27th July 2022. The total budget for this initiative is set at £1,000,000 and falls under the health and social work services industry category.

This procurement opportunity presents significant prospects for businesses involved in health and social care services, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations. Companies that specialise in education services for adults, as well as those with innovative approaches to supporting individuals with disabilities, would be in a strong position to compete. The engagement session offers a platform for interested parties to align their offerings with Essex County Council's vision and expectations, ultimately fostering strategic partnerships in this essential service area.
