The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) has procured experienced curriculum experts (Curriculum Advisors and Assessment Advisors) to provide independent expertise for the development of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) National Curriculum tests for English Grammar Punctuation & Spelling, English Reading and Mathematics, as well as Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) experts to provide advice on the development of the reception baseline assessment. The contracts will run between 1 February 2024 and 31 January 2026. The procurement was run through DFE's E-Sourcing portal Jaggaer: education.app.jaggaer.com. The competition resulted in 10 contracts being awarded.
