Notice Title

Consultancy Support for Sharepoint

Notice Description

The Cricks' current strategy is to use Sharepoint to support the Crick's electronic data management requirements. In order to support Sharepoint adequately, IT&S will continue to make use of 3rd party skills. The brief below outlines the key deliverables to be achieved under this contract: * Design, setup and configure SharePoint site collection and team sites * Setup and configure libraries * Create custom list formats & layouts * Modify navigation items and layout changes depending on scope * Advise users on best practice setup and use * Complete any remedial work as a result of prototype reviews and acceptance testing * Modify the look and feel of SharePoint using supported web techniques * Modify the default SharePoint behaviour and look and feel using JavaScript/jQuery * Develop a high level design of any new sites requests for build and acceptance into production * Analyse and advise on new workflow requirements, managed through requirements gathering and Statement of Works (SoW) * Assist in migration of data from other existing document repositories to SharePoint * Conduct training for users and technical support teams, one to one and group/classroom lead sessions * Details of the configuration approach and methodology adopted.
