VEAT - Emergency Care, Pharmacy and Paramedic Workforce Programme
Notice Description
Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a VEAT with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note that this is not a Tender opportunity, and that the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to the following provide The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM). This is to support the improvement of Emergency Department leadership culture to support the design and delivery of leadership curricula. Coordinating and working with employers in ensuring the provision of support for junior doctors at the start of their career and enhancing professional development and workplace-based experience throughout. The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) is experienced in setting and monitoring standards of care in providing expert guidance and advice on policy to relevant bodies on matters relating to the provision of Emergency Medicine services in England. Health Education England (HEE) believe The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) are the only supplier that has the requisite expertise, experience, and capacity to delivery advanced education and research in Emergency Medicine and is responsible for setting standards of training and administering examinations in Emergency Medicine in England. The financial envelope for the contract is PS150,000 Ex Vat for the duration of 3 years available budget. If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the e-Tendering Portal in the first instance within 10 days of the date of this Prior Information Notice.
