INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF A HANDYPERSON AND AFFORDABLE WARMTH ASSISTANCE SERVICE IN THE BOROUGH OF CHORLEY
Notice Description
Chorley Council is inviting tenders for the provision of a Handyperson and Affordable Warmth Assistance Service in the Borough of Chorley as more specifically detailed in the Invitation to Tender and associated documents. The work is scheduled to commence on 1st April 2022. Please note this is a Reserved Contract as per PPN 11/20 "Reserving Below Threshold Contracts". This contract is reserved for SMEs / VCSEs (please refer to the definitions below) -Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SME): Any business with fewer than 250 employees and either an annual turnover below PS45m or a total balance sheet less than PS40m. -Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs): Any organisation (incorporated or not) working with a social purpose. This ranges from small community based groups / schemes, through to larger registered charities and social enterprises, public service mutuals and cooperatives that operate locally, regionally and nationally. This term is often interchangeable with the terms 'third sector' or 'civil society' organisations. Social Value will form part of the evaluation criteria for this procurement. Bidders must therefore follow the guidance within the tender documentation in respect of submitting their social value offering. Your social value bid submission must be made via the Social Value Portal and must be received by the same deadline as below. Interested bidders should register their interest via the Chest at www.the-chest.org.uk in order to access the full specification and invitation to tender documentation. The deadline for expressions of interest in the opportunity is 17:00PM the 17th November 2021. Completed tender documents must be submitted and received via the Chest by no later than 12 Noon 19th November 2021.
