Research Respository

Notice Description

The British Library recently completed a pilot project that developed a Samvera Hyku Research Repository for its own research outputs and those of five other Cultural Sector Independent Research Organisations (IROs). The service, including six individual institutional repositories and a shared layer that aggregates the combined content, went live in November 2019. The British Library is now looking at how this beta service can be developed to provide hosted repository solutions for other Cultural Sector IROs. As part of this work a supplier is needed to host, support and develop the platform up until March 2023.
