Reverse Proxy Virus Scan Replacement Options - Soft Marketing Testing

Notice Description

Birmingham City Council (BCC) are exploring the market for the functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs) for a Reverse Proxy Malware Scanning solution to be used when external users of BCC websites submit attachments to BCC. This will: * support the evaluation of solution options for replacement of the existing solution. * enable Birmingham City Council (BCC), and their partners to agree on the scope of what is being requested. * be used to make time and cost estimates on the delivery of the proposed solution and to allow the functional design of the required solution. The subsequent Options Appraisal and Design Specification documents will be used to describe how the solution will be designed and delivered. The requirements for Malware Scanning including: * Functional requirements for malware scanning of attachments. * Requirements for handling infected attachment files. * NFRs including service availability, volumes and security. * Current websites using the service plus any growth or contraction. Please read the document and if you feel that your organisation is able to contribute to this soft market sounding exercise please complete the requirements questionnaire, along with a solution overview and itemised price list and submit it via the In-Tend portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc by 5:00pm on the 4th May 2021. The system is secure and access to the clarifications will only be made available to those employees of the Council, and/or their authorised advisers in respect of this soft market sounding request.
