Future High Streets Fund - Consultancy services for the provision of Creative Workspace feasibility and delivery options and Green Book appraisal
Notice Description
Thanet District Council has been successful in its Expression of Interest (EoI) to the Future High Streets Fund (FHSF) for Ramsgate Town Centre. The object of the FHSF is to breathe new life into town centres and high streets in ways to help them evolve and adapt to changes in consumer demand and expectations. These changes are to be transformational; and ensure a thriving town centre able to sustain itself, its community and businesses. To progress with the next phase of grant assessment the Council is now required to develop a full business case for capital investment by the FHSF in support of the proposals and strategic ambition outlined in the EoI. Thanet District Council invites tenders from a suitably qualified multi-disciplinary professional consultancy teams to undertake a study to assess the feasibility and deliverability of workspace provision, aimed at the creative industries, in Ramsgate town centre, and to appraise the feasibility through the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Green Book appraisal. The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 7 February, 2020 for a duration of 21 weeks. The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Quote document. Important Information: All procurement documents are attached to this notice and available for suppliers to download and complete according to instructions contained. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 12.00hrs on 23 January, 2020. Completed quotation documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 12.00hrs on 31 January, 2020.
