Notice Description

DFID's aim through this programme is to increase energy access in Mozambique through innovative private sector provision of, and investment in, off grid renewables, expanding market access of off-grid renewable energy products and related services to rural communities and businesses in Mozambique. The ultimate beneficiaries of this programme will be poor households and micro, small and medium enterprises in rural Mozambique. DFID intends to award a contract for an initial term of 6 years and 4 months with a maximum budget of PS22.8m (inclusive of VAT and all applicable Government taxes). DFID may extend the duration up to an additional 2 years with a maximum total contract value of PS33m (inclusive of VAT and all applicable taxes) Additional information: All relevant information relating to this Contract Notice can be found on the DFID Supplier Portal where suppliers can register their interest directly.
